Bittorrent Issues

I use uTorrent and Graboid (not sure what client it uses). The problem I'm having is that the onboard network card (both of them) locks up after a short period, sometimes. I have to disable and re-enable the network interface to get it to work again. This only happens with torrents.

I have all the firewalling turned off, no need for it. I've made sure that my nvidia drivers are up to date. Still the issue persists.

Any ideas?

Try disabling IPv6 on your network card's and see if this makes a difference. I know that it can occasionally cause problems if it is enabled and not being used.

There are a lot of threads floating around about this issue and still no resolution. So I don't think it's a router/av/etc problem that everyone seems to want to point at.
