Bizarre Behaviour

I am not mad in the least by this problem, however this device has generated errors seen on SQL through explorer when accessing files. "The object invoked has disconnected from its client" That was generated from me accessing file A, while the system was trying/or seemingly thought file A was file B while the invoked handler just dropped the request because of "what the x is going on here". Any ways today's problem is weirder.

I transferred over 2 directories, and about 20 files. Out of that everything transferred fine. I started to put them in their according directories the three photos in-properly named went to drive VI--->Categorised

10 audio files, 1 html file, 1 folder was transferred to drive XIV out of that 1 audio file, 1 html file remains. This is just a dump drive for downloaded, unprocessed data.

1 folder, 1 video file, 2 subfolders, 2 audio files, 15 pictures was transferred to drive IX my Documents drive for text based files, and projects. This was a media project I developed. Had everything in this one gone.

Not mad because I uploaded that video yesterday so effectively lost only the resources. Same with the other files to to Drive XIV. I transferred the video file over yesterday. I was transferring the resource files over today. Never sorted them yet so threw them there. Vanished as well.

Then my newest project, which I did delete from the Internet was also apart of the deleted files. Permanently gone, never existed. Not a big deal, but what is going on? I am sure other files disappeared as well, I can't memorise every little piece of data. Is only data, if anything is prevalent I will remember it and be able to replicate the data at a later date.

Please discuss, this is not related to the drive. Is an exception in the explorer handler.

*This not a problem to be fixed, solved, or any thing of the like. Simply a general thread for why these types of things might happen.

P.S. Windows Operating System is abhorred for data use in general, I stopped using it a long time ago to avoid these problems. This not my computer just on here for a few days and all ready had the above issues as well as the explorer handler hogging dependencies. Where I have manually force unlocked files being used by no applications rather then explorer for no apparent reason to such a degree commands in CMD with elevated permissions comes back with we're sorry we can't do that. I love dos, but the gui... deep breath.... is just not for me. Is a memory hog, lacks features, and simply has problems. New copy of Windows, flash scripts everything is replaced is a new computer effectively.

While on this discussion, we have had a lot of time with Windows 7 yet we still know very little about how the code works. Security aside, and beyond compatibility complexes. How much more malleable do you believe the XP operating system is in regards to custom user interfacing v.s. 7?

Im going to be honest. I have no clue what it is you are even talking about. The problem is so unclear, this "Bizarre behavior" you are alluring to in the title I cannot see it in the mass of disconnected text...

"The object invoked has disconnected from its client" when accessing a file, while the computer thinking it is another different file.

Files disappearing eg. no longer registering after being transferred to a new location.

That is a bizarre behaviour imo.

Hi, very hard to follow your story (it was fun truing to do it - is this some kind of riddle?). So you have 14(or more) drives and you move (drag and drop not copy) files from one drive to another and sometimes on drive 9 and 14 the files that you moved disappear?
