Hi. I have a Toshiba computer with Windows 7. The processor is AMD Anthlon. Whenever I play certain computer games on this computer, there are black bars on the sides that make the game screen really small. Is there a way to get rid of these black bars? I used to have a Compaq with Vista and none of the games I played had these black bars. So if anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

It would help a bit if you told us a little more, what games you play that have the issue, and the monitor model you are using.
It could be as simple as changing the resolution in the game to match the monitor.

Oh sure, I'm sorry. The computer model is Satellite C655D.

The games I've been having this problem with are most of the Nancy Drew Adventure Games and Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.

If you need more info on the computer itself, tell me.
