Black border screen when playing games

Okay so i have had this problem since i have installed the latest driver thing from NVIDIA. I have a laptop and the graphics card is nvidia GeForce 9800m GS 512mb. This is an ASUS computer called the g50vt. I recently (past 2 months) upgraded from vista to windows 7. Please help.

I would recommend to run your game in safe mode if possible. If problem keep pursuing, then re-install the graphic driver as well as update directX
