Hello there, do this:

1) Go to start, right click Computer and click properties
2) On the left Panel click on Advanced system settings
3) In Performance, click Configure
4) Check the "Show windows content while dragging" or something like that should say (sorry my windows is in spanish)
5) Apply and Accept

:)

Probably if you had the "Let Windows choose what's best for me", Windows itself could have change it... i always have it in "Adjust for better looks" again, my windows is in spanish so i don't exactly know how is written in the english version hehe...

I think it was Speed Up My PC. I used it because I got slight lag on a video editing program, but later found out it was just on a low frame-rate, as my computer is very fast at most stuff, I began to wory. Lol

@mitchell65 Don't think it's plasma. It's a 23 inch flat screen

Actually the monitor has nothing to do with that feature..

Speed Up My PC is our guilty here hehe.. i suggest not using those programs, they do more harm than speeding or fixing your PC :) Windows on its own it's really optimized, so.. don't worry about those programs. i'm sure there's a lot of users here who share the same feelings about those "Optimizers" programs.

Cheers :D
