Thanks for the info Britton30! I have had one of these running in my PC for a year and a half now without a single issue and I get faster read/write rates than any of my other SSDs. I just might have to have a look at the old check book and see if buying another one is in order.

Greg, that's a cute little laptop - even has two USB3 ports. Should be completely sufficient for normal day to day work. I have a lesser laptop from 2007 which still works very well - with Vista.

Looks decent to me for the light browsing etc. Put 7 in it and it should be o.k. I like the usb3 ports and it says you can expand the memory. For its size and speed Notebook Check likes its processor so for the price it doesn't seem like a bad deal.
