A couple of wekks ago my wife was using the computer when she had a BSOD, she let it run and when it restarted it went to a black screen after booting. I have tried numerous times but windows explorer will not start, I can get into task manager using C, Alt Delete but when I try to start anything I get Windows task manager has stopped working. I have also tried Safe Mode but I get the same results. I have tried start up repair but again no joy, I have ran SFC /scannow at boot but still nothing.
