blank IE screen after logging in

Having A problem after logging in, After everything has loaded up after logging in and clicking on either A program to start or A another window I get A white screen pop up that fills up the entire screen. Now I can either hit the start button (on the keyboard)or hit the Alt+Tab buttons then be able to switch to other programs or get back to view the desktop. When I look at the Title Bar at the top left of the page its referencing A file some doc files in A folder in my Temp directory. If I right click the white screen I can click on view source like any other webpage but doesn't show anything special under the body but a reference to "doc". And I am sometimes unable to view this in the Task manager, but when it does show up it just says that its IE. Deleted all the files in that folder in the temp directory but still auto populates after logging in. Could not find it under startup services and unable to find out what is causing it. I know I wrote A Novel but help would be much appreciated.

It is a little hard to understand what you mean. Attaching a snipping tool picture might help.

My first guess it you have a virus. I had one that messed up by login and it had replaced a windows file with an xxx86.exe version. I think it was winlogon.exe, but can't remember exactly.

Check the registry for winlogon.exe and winlogon86.exe to see if you can find one. These file names may not be exact, but close.
