Blender 2.49

Hi,

I was using Blender 2.49 without any problems with Windows Vista, but there seems to be a problem in Win7. When i load blender, i only see a black screen and a title bar. I do have python installed and do not get any error messages in the console window.

IMO, this is a VGA driver's issue. Tried updating them, but no changes. My card is Intel X3100. Has anybody tries to run blender with this video card in Win7?

Any help appreciated.

Already did - same results. Disabled desktop composition, Aero themes and all the things that could have any effect on this issue. Still no changes.

As i mentioned, this could be the drivers issue, but i can not seem to find a workaround for this.
