You are my savior twice in one day. While working with a drive designation problem in another thread, using Partition Wizard, when I booted back to the hard drive as normal, all my desktop icons where gone. Disappeared. Vanished. Ex-Desktop Icons, AWOL. But your fix came to the rescue again and worked perfectly.
So I have to Officially thank you again. Take care dude.

glennc, Now that you have icons back you may need to save your theme. The tutorial mentioned in your other thread addresses that. That should keep your veiw icons on desktop selected. Let us know if you need more help with that. Bless you also. Enjoy!
