Dear all,

I have something strange happening when reading a blu ray with PowerDVD10. THe image is fuzzy, like missalignement of lignes or part of image. A lot of distortion and green squares.

When looking normal DVD, no problem with PowerDVD. When watching the bluray with the previsualisation from Xilisoft Blue Ray ripper, I see the image perfectly.

I have currently a brand new PC with Win 7 pro 64, PowerDVD10, ATI Radeon HD5450, Shark007 codec packs (32+64).

Previously, on my older PC on XP, with KLite pack, PowerDVD and a older ATI Radeon, I didn't have this issue.

Has somebody any clue on what could be the problem?
Is there something different using PowerDVD or other softwares?
Any advice?

BRGDS

PowerDVD is the most popular BD player as i know. I think you should try update your Blu-ray drive's driver, I heard that some blu-ray player can not play BD with the old drivers

In fact it doesn't seem to be a driver issue. I just installed MPC HC, and everything is perfect. But not with PowerDVD... must be a Codec issue.
Any bad experience with Shark007?

I have not been able to reproduce your issue which leads me to believe that maybe you need to upgrade the graphics driver from the ATI website

I have the same problem with powerDVD, except it plays the bluray high definition movie portion fine, but it's all garbled and has green blotches when I watch the extra, nonHD stuff (like deleted scenes). I have the latest video card drivers and the latest updates for powerDVD as well as the latest LG firmware update.
