I have been having a blue screen problem for several months now. It is strange how it happens. If I boot up my computer that has been off all night, when I start doing something CPU intensive, it will crash with a 0x101 error, but as soon as I reboot it (or if I just boot it, then reboot it before there is a chance of a blue screen) I get no more blue screens for the entire time it is on no matter how CPU intensive or for how long a program runs. I ran SFC scannow and found that my issue seems to be with wpdshext.dll, but it can't fix it because the source file is corrupt. I am not sure what this means or how I can fix it.
I am using a Windows 7 upgrade I have had for years that I can't find the disc for, which may be a problem.
Any idea how I can fix this?
