blue screen error

Hi there,
My computer hangs frequently for 2 to 5 minutes and gets restarted and a message comes - Blue screen error.

system specs

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz
4.00 GB ram

You first unisstall AVG, and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows .

Then run the SF Diag tool again, upload the dumps for us.
Your dumps are corrupt, and not opening at all.

I would disagree with the choice of anti virus.If your going for a free option then choose AVAST free av.it will protect you far better than MSE.Do the research and this will be confirmed at AV test sites etc.

May be, but Avast and AVG flags The SF Diag tool, and makes the dumps incomplete.
So during troubleshooting, those AVs are a bit of problem.

Personally I choice Avast better, but not for the time being at which point the OP is right now.

Actually avast web shield is creating some problems with certain firewalls.comodo users have noticed they cannot block active connections because avast filters traffic through its local host proxy.other firewalls have been affected too.PFW. windows firewall etc.but this is not a fault with avast its a windows7 problem.
Yes i would agree and go for avira too.
Lets just hope that malware cannot breach firewalls just like the avast webshield is apparently able to do so.:devil2:

Hello yokukuhi, the dumps you have supplied, the latest one is of 09/09/2012.

If it is the situation that you did not have any BSOD in between, very good and nothing to be anxious. Run your computer normally, if it results another BSOD, let us know
