Blue screen, even after restoration

Our Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium starting giving occasional blue screen errors when it booted, sometimes IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, sometimes BAD_POOL_CALLER.

I restored an image that I made with Windows Backup about 8 months ago, shortly after purchase. But upon re-boot it gave the IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL right off the bat.

Before the restore I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, and also ran chkdsk /r from the startup disk command line. Both tests came out clean. Any ideas what to look at next?

Thanks

Probably hardware (ram?) wont know till we examine the DMP files

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

The computer has degraded to the point where it would not boot at all. Then I tried Safe Mode and got it to boot. I copied the existing .dmp file to a flash drive. Then it sat there without being touched, and after a few minutes it gave IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error, while it was just sitting at the Desktop. Since then I've been unable to get it to boot at all. I've attached the dump file that was there, never got to check the setting for small memory dump.

Thanks

Most of time now, when I try to start it, I do not even see the first boot screen where you can press F12 for the boot menu. The screen stays black, and I notice that the cooling fan is running very fast continuously, even though the computer is cold. If I keep rebooting, eventually it does get to that first boot screen, then continues the boot process, but ends up in a blue screen eventually.

Thanks

No useful in the single upload DMP file. If you have had more BSOD's upload the rest, if not we have to wait for the next one.

It no longer boots. On power on it just goes to a blank screen, with the fan running at high speed. I don't anticipate getting any more dump files.

This condition continues to worsen. I just booted off the Windows 7 repair disk and started a restore again. A few minutes into the restoration I got a blue screen IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. I am thinking this has to be a hardware problem, and since the Windows Memory Diagnostic and chkdsk surface scan both came back clean, I am guessing I should take this in for warranty service, since it is less than a year old. Any other opinions?

Thanks
