Blue Screen Of Death cause by atikmdag.sys

Hi All,

I Have Windows 7 Ultimate Version and when I try to install my driver for my videocard ATI Radeon X1600 Pro, I have a Blue Screen when I restart the OS.

You have some old drivers that could be updated. Old drivers can cause BSOD.

One of most causes for BSOD. Update this from ASUS Website - likely your CPU/Motherboard


Uninstall Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120%. They use a file sptd.sys which is notorious for BSOD. Once you have uninstall Daemon Tools/Alcohol 120%, use this tool to delete sptd.sys: DuplexSecure - Downloads

At this moment, I have remove Daemon Tool's and sptd.sys from my system and update my driver. I don't have any Blue Screen and it's seems to be ok for now.

If we have any problem in future, I'll advise.
