I don`t know much about the BSOD but if you installed new hardware cards, etc... then it will crash. If you have the installation media then you might be able to get your files through Safe Mode (F8) and then preform a clean install while keeping all your hardware attached.

It happens variously eg when I leave the computer with open docs or internet site connected after half an hour or maybe longer, sometimes when I close everything and put to sleep, it won't wake and sometimes when I've shut down, then a message re blue screen appears when I get back in. Have had to switch everything off at mains twice to get computer to respond.

can anyone help with this minidump please?
In the meantime I have also noted in device manager an exclamation mark next to my computer status : needs troubleshooting, when I troubleshoot -> message ".problem with Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter" I then apply the fix but outcome is MTT Adapter has a driver problem - not fixed. Is this anything to do with the BSOD?
Update: I have run the Windows memory diagnostic tool - it didn't find any problems with the memory.
Thanks Helia
