Blue Screen

Hello All I was playing Bad Company2 last night and the game crash to a Blue Screen and Then Rebooted and I was not able to see what was on the Blue Screen. How do I fix it so I can see the Error Please. I have had Windows 7 for a couple of weeks now and I have had some Little Problems like windows has stopped working, and the Desktop will load and then it will flash and come back to Desktop again. Plus there other little things. I was thinking about doing a Clean Windows 7 install again, but I am concearned that after doing that the Problems well come back again. Should I be worried about that, or Should I just leave it all Alone and see if it works its self out ? Thank You

That gathers the dump files, event logs, system info, driver listings, health reports, etc. All very useful to us when we go to analyze them.

So I should run this to see if there are Problems instead of doing a Freash install, Because there could be a Hardware Issues or Driver Problems Right ? Im only asking so I can better understand Thank You

A fresh install will eliminate the possibility of a virus, and wipe out any programs that may be causing it. However, it won't fix hardware issues.

We can usually look at the logs and see what is causing the problem, or at least get some clues as to whether it is a hardware problem or software problem, and if so, what.

If you would like to try a clean install, feel free. We'll also be happy to take a look first, though, if you wish,

Help me Please I Downloaded the BSOD File and Ran it , But I type perfmon/report and nothing Happened. I tried it like this perfmon / report and I get parameter is incorrect I dont Have a Clue Help

There is a space between the perfmon and the /, but not one between the / and report.

You can copy/paste this if it makes things easier:

perfmon /report

Hello Jonathan Thank You for the Help I see what I did now, And Im Really Sorry for Being so Dumb. I ran the Program but I dont understand how to save it , Do I name the Folder and then put it inside the other Folder. Again Im Sorry Im 47 and dont have a clue about half of this

No worries, this is what we're here for, to answer difficult and easy questions the same.

To save the perfmon report, go to File>Save Page As, and save it as perfmon.html.

If you haven't already, place the Windows_NT6_BSOD_v3.03_jcgriff2_.exe file in Documents, and run it.

It should create another folder in your Documents folder. Right-click on it, and select Send to>New compressed folder. Then, drag the perfmon.html file you saved into the newly-created Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2.zip folder.

That .zip folder is what you upload.

You want the Driver Only, in the Option 2 section.

Oh I forgot to Post this Windows OEM 7 64 bit Bought it from New Egg . System is a Year Old was running XP32 bit. and Ran Fine. Thanks for the Replys I well get to work on these things

I did want to ask about the ATK0110 Drivers. Do I just download them, or do I have to uninstall the old ones first?

Just install the new ones. A black DOS screen will pop up, which confuses many people, but that is normal. It doesn't look like the driver is installed, but it will be.

Hello Jonathan I went to the Realtek site and found Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Drivers and

Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1419849) which one Please. I also noticed that there was a Realtek Update in Windows Updates. and I was wondeing if installing the optional Updates were Safe . I never used them in XP because they always gave me Problems but I had to ask Because it Win 7 Thank You​
