Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.

In the dumps are references to a graphics driver but as we do not know what you have in that machine we cannot link you to a driver update.

Ok well what I am suggesting is that you update the driver for the GPU card. So just go ahead and do that but having said that I cannot find any driver for that card on the NVidia site.

Can you please check in the Control Panel > Programs and Features and see what version of the NVidia driver is there in that listing.

Ok well we just need to know how did the driver get installed. Now it is possible the Windows install did it but it ha since got corrupted or something - the problem is that the only driver I can find is this one
Drivers | GeForce it is a version that is before the one you quoted and might seem odd but is worth trying as sometimes going back a version is the answer to some issues.

You might also try going to that site and look for drivers as there is an option but I cannot come up with that model of GPU you have the best is one for the 600 series Drivers | GeForce and it is the 640 model. Now in that site there is an option for you to auto detect your card it might be worth a try too see pic


Having said that I would like to know the answer to just where did that driver you quoted come from first before we move on.

Maybe has to do with program Driver Pack -Online, which I`ve been using last week to update de drivers, but something went wrong...
I am sorry my husband, who passed away 2010, is not here, he was real computer freek.. I remember him also on this forums, I think he used name Klarkxyz...if you remember?

Ok the bug it is just referring to a bug check when we run the analysis of the dumps files sent in - if you look at the readout I sent in post #2 you can see under the GRAPHICS_DRIVER_TDR_FAULT this
BUGCHECK_STR: 0x116 and that refers to the different sorts of faults or "bugs" in the system that are stopping the system from working correctly.
I think when people see things like "bugs" or "viruses" in/on a system it sort of makes you think of living creatures when all they mean is something that is interfering with the system.

I am really sorry to hear your husband has passed away and it must be difficult for you to handle these sorts of problems but we are always here for any help you need.

So anyway you like bikes?? Me I don't ride anymore because I wrecked my shoulder prospecting for gold but the last bike I had was a '98 Yamaha 1100cc Virago Special (see pic)which was the perfect bike for touring . Do I need to recover the sistem and put new Windows on?

Hello bistra now don't go buying any clean up programs as I for one don't like those softwares that promise everything and usually don't and mess with the system anyway.

This is a good clean up program that most of us use and is very good at keeping down the clutter plus it does have a few useful tools as well. CCleaner - Free Download or try CCleaner Professional - Piriform and the free version os really good. Now one thing with CCleaner is that it will clean the dump files so if you get another BSOD then don't use the CCleaner until you have sent the dumps.
One more thin if you have sites that are passworded when you go to clean the drive the do this.
Open the program > Analyse > when it has done that > got to Options > then Cookies > then save the site cookie to the right hand panel. If you don't then you will find you have to login again those sites - it saves a lot of time. See my pic.

Lastly if you want you can run through this tutorial it is my bible when installing and fixing friends or family machines. You may lose (if you want to) some of the "bling" like transparency but I think it is unnecessary and you can always reverse anything you have done.
Optimize Windows 7 just go slowly with the tips and any problems post in the tutorial because Brink is very good at helping out
