Uninstall RK Launcher - even if it's not at fault, it's one less thing to worry about while troubleshooting.

Also, please start with these diagnostics:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Malware (read the details at the link)

Then, Please update or remove these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager. Please use the following instructions to locate the most current drivers:
How To Find Updated Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- some driver links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html

Here's the older drivers:

See above where it says "How To Find Updated Drivers"
I've also started listing the manufacturer's name alongside the drivers (to make it easier).
Finally, I've also started a listing of manufacturer's download links here (my website): Drivers and Downloads

But, it seems that your system is overloaded with different storage drivers (Adaptec, IBM, LSI, Intel, and SiS)
I doubt that your system has all these physical controllers present (especially if it's a laptop) - and suspect that this is another example of HP loading stuff that's not necessary in order to save time (and money) on disk images. The last time that I recall this, they loaded both Intel and AMD CPU drivers - and it caused major BSOD's for systems when a Windows Update was released that affected it.

So, please post the exact make and model of your system (It's the item numbered 1 in this link: Locate the Notebook Product Number or Model Number - HP Customer Care (United States - English) )

Also, please provide this info so we can verify some of the stuff:
MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type "msinfo32 /nfo C:\Users\Public\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Desktop directory to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.

I suspect you will need the Intel driver, so you can visit the Intel Download Center at: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

im having some issues udating the drivers. for example when i google the first one adp94xx.sys, it says its for 32 bit operating systems and i have a 64bit os, and when i go into the adaptec website. theres specifically sas, sata, raid, scsi adapters, and alot of different sas/sata, and i dont even know where to begin. i saw you mentioned to UPDATE OR REMOVE the old drivers in the description. So could i just remove all of these and be done with it? Will there be any changes to my laptop if i do?

Let's hold off on the storage driver updates for a bit. HP has made thousands of laptops with all these drivers, so the likelihood of these drivers being an issue isn't very high at this point in time.

Instead, let's try Driver Verifier. Please follow these instructions:
Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver. Other times it'll crash before you can log in to Windows. If you can't get to Safe Mode, then you'll have to resort to offline editing of the registry to disable Driver Verifier.

So, I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Win7 Startup Repair feature). In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

Reboot into Windows (after the crash) and turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page, then locate and zip up the memory dump file and upload it with your next post.

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.
If that doesn't work, post back and we'll have to see about fixing the registry entry off-line.

I believe its fixed. Thanks usama for the help. I called hp because my audio wasnt working and when i mentioned the blue screen and told them what happened, they said to run norton removal tool and webroot removal tool because my computer had been loaded with those antviruses before but probably not removed all the way. they also had me remove rklauncher like usama said, and no blue screen or windows explorer errors so for. Thanks for the help and ill keep you updated if anything happens.
