I'm new here but I've noticed there are a lot of ppl with knowledge about Windows 7 that I have not. Hopefully there is someone able to help me with this blue screens I'm getting at the start up of my Windows 7 system. It only happens at 10% to 20% of the start ups, but I don't think its very good. It gives the message: "IRQL IS NOT LESS OR EQUAL".

I've added an attachment with the minidump files in a zip file. My hardware info is:

OS: Windows 7
Motherboard: MS-7616
Basic I/O System(BIOS): Default System BIOS
Central Processing Unit(CPU): Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz
Physical Memory X 2
2GB
2GB
Hard Disk: ST31000528AS (0,91TB)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 240
Monitor: SyncMaster P2250(G)/P22500(G),Magic P2250G(Analog)

Thank you very much to anyone who can help me. :D

hi and welcome

Ok all three are hardware related. The first hardware I would check is the memory.

I would download memtestx86 and run it for 5 runs
also run a system file check
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

Thank you zigzag3143, for your quick reaction.

I did run memtestx86 for two times in a row. I never used such a program, so it took me a while to find it out on their website. The tests took about an hour. I discovered that ECC was turned off. I dont know if this a problem but there where 0 errors. Should I do three more tests? And should I put ECC on?

I also ran an system file check. It said: 'Er zijn geen schendingen van de integriteit gevonden'. My system is in Dutch but that mean something like: We didn't find any transgression/violation of the integrity (or something like that).

Thanks

You might want to run the Windows version of Memtest. It finds problems much faster than the CD version.
You need to run one instance for each CPU core and then divide the unused memory into each instance then run them all at the same time. You may need to run this test for 3-4 hours but running it overnight is best. It will usually find problems in the first ten minutes if you have a memory or memory controller problem.

I've tested with the program chev65 adviced me. It ran for about 8,5 hours. I did open the program twice and test it for 1221 MB each. They both came to about to 2495% each and found 0 errors.
Is there anything else I can do? Thanks a lot

Did to do a Clean install or was this an Upgrade ??
According to Dump it is also mentioning about Plug and Play PCI Enumerator probably you could remove all the PCI cards then reboot it check see whether your having the same problem. Also make sure the drivers installed are from manufactures website NOT from Windows update.

Hope this helps,
Captain
