Here's a link to a brief description of the error message: Troubleshooting Windows STOP Messages
Most often these are caused by corruptions in the video drivers - but recently we've seen more of these errors from other hardware.

The Bucket section of the report that you posted refers to rasl2tp.sys
This is the RAS L2TP mini-port/call-manager driver which is a part of Windows
Since it's a part of Windows, we assume that it's not at fault (because of the System File Checker (SFC.EXE) function of Windows) - but it leads us to your networking sub-system.

So, I'd first update your networking drivers and carefully check for any network aware applications that also may be running (as they often load networking drivers of their own).

For further info, please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the files located there. Then upload the .zip file with your next post.

FYI - this is an IRP issue, and I'm going to try something new to track the module that's involved in the IRP (from the crash dump section of Windows Internals that I just got in the mail yesterday).

I don't often trust Windows Update for drivers. Usually they'll only inform you of drivers that've been submitted to them by the system manufacturers (HP, Dell, etc).

I always update my drivers from the manufacturer of the hardware component's website. In this case (presuming that you're using a 32 bit version of Win7) you can get Win7 drivers from: Realtek

Get either:
Win7 Driver

or

Auto Installation program
Support Win7 32/64

Will get to the dump file in the next couple of hours - the wife's got me doing stuff around the house right now :(

Had a break - but no result from the !irp command - no symbols available for ntoskrnl prevented the analysis. Gotta run - more to follow....

I don't use any of the unofficial builds, so someone else will have to recommend that.
I'd assume that the newer the build the better - in case it's a hardware incompatibility that's been ironed out in one of the subsequent builds (FWIW - RTM is on 13Jul09 - and I'd presume that TechNet will release it around that time. So, there should be leaked copies available around then).

I'd suggest trying the Win7 drivers from Realtek that I linked to in a previous post before doing anything else.

Here's a list of the older (2007 and earlier) drivers on your system:
Code:
PxHelp20.sys Fri Feb 02 16:23:57 2007 [B]Sonic/Roxio drivers[/B]
Rtlh86.sys Mon Jun 25 01:37:23 2007 [B]Realtek 8101/8168/8169 NDIS6 32-bit Driver[/B]
hcwPP2.sys [B][URL="http://www.google.com/search?q=%22WinTV%20PVR%20PCI%20II%20%28v2%29%20WDM%20Video%20Capture%22"][/URL][/B] Tue Feb 06 13:27:02 2007 [B]WinTV PVR PCI II (v2) WDM Video Capture[/B]

If this doesn't work, you can try Driver Verifier - but don't try it without reading my directions first (it can lock your system into a BSOD loop without the ability to get into Windows). I'll post the directions later on if it appears that we need it.

Finally, here's the dump file analysis:

Me good, all devices are updated. To the Last update.
The system did not let me update them on the grounds because they are on my computer.

What this Driver Verifier And how can it help me?

Rtlh86.sys Mon Jun 25 01:37:23 2007 [B]Realtek 8101/8168/8169 NDIS6 32-bit Driver[/B]
hcwPP2.sys Tue Feb 06 13:27:02 2007 [B]WinTV PVR PCI II (v2) WDM Video Capture[/B]
If this doesn't work, you can try Driver Verifier - but don't try it without reading my directions first (it can lock your system into a BSOD loop without the ability to get into Windows). I'll post the directions later on if it appears that we need it.

Finally, here's the dump file analysis:

Driver Verifier stresses the conditions that drivers operate under - which causes them to crash earlier and more recognizably.

If you haven't had a BSOD since you updated the drivers it's best to wait to see if you get one BEFORE using Driver Verifier.

Please read the entire instructions before starting. It can cause your system to lock in a BSOD loop, preventing you from getting into Windows:
Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver. Other times it'll crash before you can log in to Windows. If you can't get to Safe Mode, then you'll have to resort to offline editing of the registry to disable Driver Verifier.

So, I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista Startup Repair feature).

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Automatically select unsigned drivers" and click "Next"
If no drivers show up, then select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out.

Reboot into Windows, turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page, then locate and zip up the memory dump file and upload it with your next post.

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.
If that doesn't work, post back and we'll have to see about fixing the registry entry off-line.

You have to update the drivers manually from the device manufacturer's website. Using the update drivers function just checks Windows Update - and it's not suggested that you update drivers that way.

You'll have to visit the Realtek website for your network card, and the Hauppage website for your TV card. The Sonic stuff would have to be updated from whatever company provided the CD/DVD software that's using the Sonic drivers.
