Getting a random Bluescreen restart on Win7 fresh install to Dell Latitude C540/c640. Zipped bugcheck attached:

Ati drivers - Update them.

The ATI page for Mobility Radeon 7500 refers to Dell only.

When we install driver from Dell, it bluescreens and restarts possibly when timed out for sleep. We had updated driver in first place to get Sleep since Win7 stock driver won't sleep.

However, I had originallly only installed it in XP SP3 compatibility mode, so now have reinstalled it in XP SP2 mode (the only viable XP compat mode I've found previously) so maybe that will fix it? We'll have to see.

Thanks. Any other ideas are much appreciated.

It may not be the driver but the control panel. try only loading the driver.

Sorry not so good with first names. I wanna call ZigZag Ken, but better not.

Yes, we only installed driver. Now in XP SP2 mode (overwrote zip file with "Yes to all") it still bluescreens when timing out to Sleep.

If we're not going to get Sleep then I should roll it back to Win7 provided Standard VGA driver which gives same resolutions? We only installed ATI/Dell driver to get sleep.
