Thanks, well now windows will not load now. It will load up the fist screen with the DELL logo, then a black screen with the white flashing cursor in the top left, it will stay there all day.

I did a hard drive diag, my 1tb passed but my 250gb failed the test. Is there without buying a new drive, that it could be fixed?

Run the Seatools diag on it. If it's fixable, Seatools should offer to fix it.
Is it your boot/OS drive? If not, just unplug it and use the other one.

If Windows is on the 1tB drive, then just disconnect the 250 gB (both the power and the data cables).
That should stop any problems caused by the 250 gB drive.

Just FYI - even if Seatools does offer to fix problems with your drive:
- it'll wipe out everything in that sector when it repairs it.
- the repair may not last for long (the drive may be dying anyway).

Just disconnect it for now (both cables) - you can live with just the 1 tB drive for now.

I must've misunderstood. I thought that the Windows was on the 1tB drive?

How much free space is on the 1tB drive? If there's enough to store your data, you can partition the drive and move the data onto the new partition. Then install Windows on the other partition (the one without the data).
