Virtual CD program such as Deamon tool or Alcohol 120% are notorious for causing BSOD. They use sptd.sys which I found in loaded drivers. Please remove them completely

Thank you very much, Ttran.

I am starting to check them one by one and will let you know the result. It might take some time because the BlueScreen doesn't happen every time.

Again, I appreciate your quick and helpful response.

Progress

It took me really sometime. I cleaned most of the drivers, applications including Mcfee and re-installed them one by one. Although I haven't fixed it yet, I strongly suspect that it is either related to the ethenet driver or Deterministic Network Enhancer which you also suggest me to upgrade the driver (dne64x.sys) or the blue tooth driver which is not installed on my machine. The problem I have is that I cannot find newer drivers for them.

For the bluetooth driver, Lenovo provided one for Win 7 64x but it doesn't install on Windows 2008 R2.

For the ethenet driver, the executable file for Lenovo gave error message that it cannot find the hardware and I had to force the installation of driver manually. The package has 4 different model numbers and I tried each of them, all of them works in terms of connecting to network but I really don't know which one if the right one or non of them is the right one.

I think dne.sys is from Microsoft and it is automatically installed, I am not sure if I should disable them.

My computer is Thinkpad T510 4314-2PU, OS is Windows 2008 R2 Standard. It only BlueScreen on me when I bring my computer form home to office and plug second moniter and network cable before I open the lid.

Correction: dne64x.sys is not from Microsoft, it is from NDIS probably installed by the display driver which is from NDIS
