Hello!

I have been trying to fix the BSOD for a week now. Arriving to this forum with hope to save the PC workstation. As I am in the middle of some big projects :(

I post the basic "BSOD Help" files (at the end of the post, with links).

Win 7 x64 Ultimate, 3 years old (2013 new build), currently 4 hard drives, 24 GB Ram

STORY: I bought a new Hard Drive recently, it came faulty. I returned it and got a good one (I believe). But then the BSOD's started occurring, frequently. I restored the system to a previous time, but the BSOD persisted.

Note that I have switched multiple times the SATA connections of the 4 Hard Drives, and it may not be in the same order (does this cause a problem?).

Now, I removed the 3 hard drives. Only the C: Windows is on. And still getting BSOD. So it's not the new hard drive's problem.

So it seems something got bad with Windows, the drivers, or Hardware(?)

---
Note: I had another 5th hard drive (WD Black 1 Terabyte) as G:. I changed it to J:. Then I copied the files from this old drive to the new arrived hard drive (WD Black 2 Terabytes), having set the drive letter of this new drive to G:. So I didn't lose all the paths from projects, etc. (I don't know if this could be a problem, do you know if it is?). The 5th hard drive went to another PC.
---

I unplugged and plugged everything back.

I cleaned it (still some dust may be there).

I have ran "chkdsk /F C: ", no errors found (but it made the system a bit faster! Still slower than before though).

I have ran Verifier, but Windows crashed at start up.

I have not ran memtest82 because I don't have CD drive, or USB.

Before installing the new hard drive, everything was perfect (I am shaking my head in despair...). Still, I removed all hard drives, and system still crashes to BSOD. I am desperate. Can't continue the work, projects! I will give back in any way I can if somebody helps.

Now the problem is the BSOD crashes and that the system is slower! It starts slower. And it shuts down slower. It performs a bit slower too.

You are running an Sony Product ID (PID) on an ASRock board.
This makes your installation counterfeit.
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it.

Fabricante del sistema: To Be Filled By O.E.M.

I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks for the info. This was installed by an informatic friend I didn't know if it was full version or not. I will surely get one next time to have a safer environment. The good news I fixed the PC by my own, after running tons of tests, sfc, chkdsk, deleting drivers that conflicted with other drivers in the Registry and now it works full time again. Thanks again
