Bluetooth Ghz question

I know this isn't related to windows and will likely get deleted, but i don't know where else to ask and since this place is full of techies i figure someone will know. Can anyone tell me if any of the phones in the link below are 5.8 Ghz in both directions?

Hello mate look I am no expert but as far as I know most devices are set to receive and transmit on the same frequency ie 2.4GHz or 5.8Ghz and this makes operating wifi modems computers etc sometimes difficult because of those frequencies for example as follows.

As a general rule the 5.8GHz is less prone to interference than the 2.4Ghz and the wifi devices one is using can be affected by such things as Blu tooth TV's, printers, microwave ovens (commonly 2.4GHz devices) etc depending on what the device/s use may interfere with what your computer or phone is using. But like I say most I have encountered operate at 2.4GHz except some cordless phones.

Now I have Googled those devices you linked and cannot find at what frequency they operate - at least in a short time frame it might be an idea to dig around for yourself to find that out. Having said that I would hazard a guess at 2.4GHz if anything.

But I do stand to be corrected as I say I am not an expert and I have replied because yu have been waiting for soem time for an answer and this is the least I can do. Some Googling re frequncies would not go amiss.

Hold on a minute. Your thread title says "Bluetooth Ghz question". Bluetooth uses 2.4Ghz period, no other frequency.

Wifi can be available in either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz (not 5.8Ghz) provided your router and your device support it. Of the 3 phones you listed, it seems that only the Moto X supports 5Ghz wifi.

If you check this link for the specs on the Moto X: Motorola Moto X - Full phone specifications. You can see under "Comms" it says it supports "Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band,". 802.11 ac and dual-band tell you it supports 2.4 & 5Ghz.

That's a better explanation strollin as I wasn't sure if the modem was one of the dual frequency ones. Not that I know much about them but just was explaining frequencies in a general manner
