Good evening everyone,

Over the past three weeks, i have been experiencing unusual bluetooth dropouts with my Logitech dinovo edge keyboard and mx900 mouse. The mouse will freeze intermittantly for about 30 seconds, i then hear bluetooth (via windows system sounds) reconnecting, then everything is ok. The dinovo wireless keyboard freezes at the same time.

As I previously mentioned, this has only recently started to occur. I thought it was due to the fact that i plugged the bluetooth hub into a 4 hub pci card. I then switched to the dedicated usb sockets on the mobo, windows and mcafee are both uptodate. I have reinstalled the latest setpoint software to no avail, and i notice when i click on the bluetooth assistant, it will often drop both devices until i search for them again.

If this has an obvious solution then forgive me, but I would sincerely appreciate being nudged in the right direction. There is nothing in terms of a solution on the Logitech forum, apart from sending it back for a replacement. Unfortunately my gear is now well out of warranty.

Thanks for looking

The obvious question; have you checked the batteries. Rechargeables can and do to go bad.

Hi therebassfisher6522,

Your solution worked. I was in denial re the rechargeable batteries as i've had them on the go for about a year now and thought them immortal. I should have read back my own post to myself, i.e. "it has only started to happen recently, etc, etc". I would like to say THANK YOU for answering my question, and i hope you will still continue to answer such basic questions from others.

Cheers mate
