Hi, i have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit, i don't know how to make the Bluetooth work, i don't have the driver installed, i downloaded from dell site the driver to Vista, but it doesn't finish the installation, it says to you press Fn+F2 to turn on/off the Bluetooth, but nothing happens, i saw in some forums that you need to click cancel, then go manually on the folder installed, click on Inst. and do some things more, but it doesn't work. I read this thread '' http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/...heral-device-driver-solution-windows-7-a.html ''. I installed the Windows Mobile Device Center, i guess i just need the driver installed correctly. Can someone help me?

The windows 7 bluetooth driver for the inspiron 1545 will work in an inspiron 1525. The hardware is identical. I've used it before on the exact some model. just download the driver itself. You also have to install the notebook system software to get the FN keys to work

Thanks for the answer, i downloaded the bluetooth driver for 1545 and the Notebook System Software for 1525, i installed the NSS, restarted the computer, and tried to install the bluetooth driver, but the FN+F2 doesn't work. I know the FN key work because i can adjust the brightness using FN+Arrow up/down, it was working before i installed the NSS. What should i do?

is that a laptop you bought used? There should also be a sticker listing for the bluetooth module attached to the bottom of the laptop. That info can also be found in system configuration in bios. If no bluetooth module is listed or if it says "device not present" you don't have a bluetooth module. Check the bottom of the laptop for a service tag, enter it in the dell website and look up the original system configuration to be sure it came with a bluetooth module. That is the most common reason for the FN+F2 key combo not working.

No, it's not used, i forgot to say, when i bought this notebook it came with Vista, i installed XP, and now Windows 7 Ultimate.. i checked the notebook tag, i wrote in the dell site, and i'm seeing it didn't come with a Bluetooth module, and some days ago i entered the Bios and there is ''Bluetooth Device: None''. Well, this notebook accept Bluetooth, it have the Bluetooth symbol, and the light, turned off..because it's not working, lol. Do you know what must i do?

if bios doesn't see it, you won't be able to get it working. I've owned several Dell laptops and worked on dozens of them.. most of them have a bluetooth symbol and light, even the ones that don't have a bluetooth module.

So, i'm seeing it'll not work anyway, that's a shame but no problem. Thanks for helping madtownidiot =).
