Bluetooth Peripheral Device(s) Not Found

I have been trying to solve this since I got W7. I've been hoping that Microsoft would resolve the issue via automatic updates, and it seems thousands of people are having the same problem. My cell phone's bluetooth pairing is incomplete: Under the hardware tab of the device's properties window: Standard Modem over Bluetooth Link is recognized. Standard Serial over Bluetooth Link (COM4) is recognized. However, there are two (2) "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" which are unrecognized. I did try a solution where someone suggested I manually install two generic COM ports, which "looked" like it worked. The ! was removed from the device and it "appeared" to be fully paired, but I still could not browse my phone or transfer files back and forth from it. Can someone help me, please?! My phone is an LG VX836V02.

So now I have a new phone. enV3, aka LG-VX9200. Same problem.

MICROSOFT! HELP! This is your problem to fix, do the right thing! Hundreds of people are having this problem. We have bluetooth adapters that are useless because of this problem! PLEEEAASSEEE HEEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still no comments on this .... I've had W7U for 1.5 years now and still ... nothing ... Microsoft -- I would really appreciate it if you would get back with me (and the thousands of others with this problem) on this. I've been loyal to you all of my life, despite numerous people trying to convert me to Mac.

I have been trying for 2 months to get the bluetooth to work and I get nothing. And I thought Vista was a bad OS this one is beginning to suck also. Surely someone somewhere has a fix. I am tired of it.

I think its because windows 7 has an incomplete bluetooth stack, try installing this bluetooth stack, its not just for the dongle shown and you dont need to install it in compatability mode. It fixed my problems with devices not being able to fully connect.

I tried the Belkin driver tonight, but no joy. At install it reports that newer bluetooth software is already installed & backs out...
