Yesterday i decided to reboot my Advent laptop and halfway through i came up with a message saying 'Boot Failed' and crashed, I restarted my laptop to find the Windows Boot Manager screen stating
'File: BCD'
'Status: 0xc000000f'
Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.'

I do not have the Windows installation disc, if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would be much appreciated.

Hello AaronSufc. Welcome to the Forum.

First, try resetting the BIOS.
Laptop off > disconnect power supply/charger > remove the laptop battery > press and hold the power button for 15 seconds or so > reconnect everything > boot.

Second, using another computer running the exact same verion of W7 as you, create a Repair Disk, which will give you the same recovery options as the installation disk.
