Weird thing happened to me today. Went to boot up my PC, everything was going smooth as always, but right before loading up the OS, it showed me an error saying: 'Boot device not recognized' or something to that effect, it was the 1st time that has ever happened to me.
So I restarted, went right into the BIOS, and under SATA1 (where the WD3200AAJS is plugged in) it said: 'No device'
Restarted again, and what do you know? it loaded up Windows. So I turned it off, and booted up again, and voila, loaded up Windows ok again.
So my question is: How can I make sure the drive is OK? is there a WD diagnostic software out there that I don't know about?
Thanks in advanced.
