Boot Freezes - Can only boot using Hirens Boot CD

I can only boot my machine using Hirens Boot off the hard drive. I have included 2 videos showing the issues. It loads to a Windows 7 screen but the ms colored flies / windows animation never loads. It freezes there.

I've run the Windows 7 "upgrade" to resinstall install Windows 7. I didn't want to wipe. And I've used chkdsk repair. I've also written a new MBR from repair mode. I've also used MBRWizard to write a new MBR.

What should I do now?

I finally figured out what the issue was. It was a Kingston 16 gb SDHC card I was using as dedicated ReadyBoost in the on board memory card reader. When you remove this all issues are fixed.

But is it worth discussing why the computer would still boot with Hirens? If I have issues with other cards for my memory boost I'll probably look into using a USB device to boot to HD so I don't have to constantly remove and plug in my readyboost card.
