I am unable to boot Windows 7 - all has been going very well until today - I need some help please.
Relatively new PC and all non-essential peripherals disconnected.
I have 2 SSD 240GB Drives, plenty of RAM etc. Memory test completed successfully.
W7 running on the C Drive, and other stuff [games etc] on the other [E Drive].

Boot menu in UEFI BIOS shows :
P4: HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW CH12NS30
P3: KINGSTON SV300S37A240G
P1: KINGSTON SV300S37A240G

When started I get :
"failed to start ... Insert installation Disk.... Click Repair etc.
Status 0xc000000e

If I then boot from Installation disk all goes as expected until I click "Repair you computer" .

It returns "Windows7, Partition Size 0MB, Location Unknown".
Progressing to the "Choose Recovery Tool" where I select StartUp Repair I then get :
"Start Up Repair cannot repair this Computer automatically" followed by :

Problem signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem signature 03: unknown
Problem signature 04: -1
Problem signature 05: ExternalMedia
Problem signature 06: 1
Problem signature 07: CorruptBootConfigData
OS Version 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID 1033

The relevant "Diagnostic and Repair Details" shown are :
Session Details :System Disk = \Device\Harddisk0
Windows dIrectory =
AutoChk Run = 0
Number of Root Causes = 1

The following various test all show successful completion except the last vis :

Root cause found :
Boot configuration is corrupt.
Repair action : Partition Table Repair.
Result : failed Error Code = 0x490

If anyone can guide me as to where to from here then that would be great. Thanks,
Mike Ody
