boot manager is missing

laptop just says bootmgr is missing when switched on. i dont have a Disc, is it possible for me to fix with out the disc ? thank you nicola

Most important is to find why you lost the boot loader / manager.
As soon you get the Win 7 installation disk, run chkdsk c: /f
