Nope. Just what I put there. It tells me that when I typed setup it switched boot manager to solely boot windows setup.

There's no reason to believe your files arent' there. They don't just go away when you edit the boot options. You need to rescue them with the disks given in the tutorials. This isn't a mystery. The files are there.

Now getting it to boot again is a different story.

Make a Win7 Repair CD or Installation DVD which you've been given multiple sources to do. Boot into it to run Startup Repair - Run up to 3 Separate Times.

In Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start it even shows how to check that the Active flag is intact so the boot files will be repaired, how to move it to C if it wont' repair on another boot partition which was set up for it. If this fails you can even try to construct a small 200mb boot partition to mark Active and write boot files onto, make bootable by running 3 Startup Repairs. Use Partition Wizard in the tutorial to do this. Post back a camera snap of its drive map if you need help.

If all fails you can run Recovery to get the inferior Factory preinstall recovered, or do a superior Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

I also contacted Microsoft directly and gave them the run down. He suggested calling Toshiba tech support who would have a work around. I will call them tomorrow. Thank you for all the help guys. If Toshiba cannot help me I will follow the detail instructions to get my laptop up and running.

SOLVED!!! Wwoohhoo

I was able to locate a copy of win 7 from an extremely courteous gentlemen and let it fix the boot manager. It saw the issue and fixed it in 5 seconds. All is well now. Thank you for all of your great help. I will suggest this forum to anyone I know who needs info about the win7 computer. Now I just need to fix the Toshiba restore to see the partition so I can make my own copy of rescue disks.
