Solved Boot Manager With One OS.

I have a Sony Vaio that came with Vista home premium 64. I formatted the hard drive and made a fresh installation of Win 7 Ultimate 64.
I have now at boot an annoying Boot Manager stopping until I press enter.
I have done anything and nothing seems to work. It only display Windows 7.
I have reformatted, reinstalled, delete and create new partition... Nothing takes away that annoying Boot Manager.
Please, Help me...

At some point you installed a second copy of Win7 which is why it configured a Dual Boot menu.

If you're sure you don't still have a second installation which needs deleting in Disk Mgmt, then install EasyBCD 2.0 to Delete the ghost OS listing on the Edit OS Menu tab. Welcome to EasyBCD 2.0! The NeoSmart Files

If you're not absolutely sure, post back a screenshot of your maximized full Disk Management drive map with listings so we can look for a possible second installation.

Hello CrazyBoot Welcome to SF!

Without even downloading and installing the EasyBCD boot editing tool you can find and remove any unwanted boot entries by opening up the msconfig's Boot tab to see what is seen there.(first image)

For disabling the display of boot options in order to see Windows load directly to the desktop on startup you would go into the Control Panel>System>Advanced Settings and simply make sure both check boxes.(see second image attached)

You may be picking up on the hidden recovery partition as another possible explaination. On many systems that will be found on the drive ahead of the main OS primary while other manufacturers will place that at the back end of the drive. But you are able to delete unwanted entrie when in the msconfig>Boot tab or manually by running the BCD editor at command prompt.

The BCD editing tool seen at the link gregrocker posted is mainly intended for those planning dual or multibooting of OSs along with Vista or 7.

More than half of the time an OP will need to use EasyBCD to delete the ghost boot entry, so I just recommend that alone now to avoid confusion and extra work.

I'm certainly not knocking EasyBCD in any case having used it since it was first seen for Vista. This was simply one way to edit entries without any 3rd party tools being pointed to.

Another however not for adding but renaming, changing default OS, and removal formerly the BCD Editor is the BellaVista tool found at System Tools - BellaVista
