I had to use the windows 7 system repair recently, which resulted ok. However, now whenever I logon
I am presented with 'windows 7 (recovered c: os and windows 7 f: (recovered) I select the OS one
and it boots up ok.

Can anyone tell me if is safe to remove these two options that appear in 'msconfig -boot , so I do not need to make this selection every time ?

I would delete the Windows7 on F. Just make sure that the bootmgr is sitting on C. The 'active' partition has the bootmgr.
