I have had to reinstall windos7 to get over boot failure. All my programmes then needed reinstallation. The computer ran well for that session and a number of times. The same failure has now happened again. Startup repair cannot fix the problem. It appears that a file has been corrupted. Is there a fix.

Where did you get the disc to re install Windows 7?
BTW I see you are in the UK whereas your timezone is showing the US! You can edit this in the Use Control Panel (Link at top of this Forum)
