What "F" key allows me to boot from the Windows 7 disc?

Probably F8.

But it could be any F key. No harm in trying them all. Should bring up a menu allowing you to choose your DVD drive.

It can be cranky. Maybe hold it down; maybe poke it once a second; may take some experimenting to get the menu to pop up.

On my Dell, it's F12.
