Solved Bootable usb fail to boot up windows 7 installation.

For a variety of reasons I have wiped the hard drive. I want to install windows 7 ultimate, and when I boot from the bootable usb, the screen end up black with a blinking cursor on the top left.

i tried those steps several times and itdidnt work. I am using a dell m6600.

Re downlod the Ultimate iso and use wintobootic to burn the iso to the usb stick

Let it finish.

Use the 1 time boot menu key to boot from the usb stick only once.

Anymore problems, post back.

while redownloading I tried the process with a new usb and it worked. turned out my original usb just doesn't work anymore for some reason. thanks for all the help.
