Bootmgr is Compressed???

Hi everyone,

So i was just doin some updates and stuff and left my pc alone and it restarted (as i wanted it to do) and when it booted up it said this odd message "bootmgr is Compressed"??? So i jumped onlline on my desktop looking everywhere and all of the solutions invole booting off a windows 7 disk, but i dont have one as my computer came with it preinstalled so i hav no idea what to do:confused:
If anyone could help me that would be awesome as i am in a difficult situation

Do you have a repair disk that came with the computer? DO you have a backup we can restore from?

bootmgr is compressed

No i dont have a repair disk but i did make aa restore point lyk 6 hours ago on the pc

Sorry I missed this before, but there is a fix:

Boot critical files are compressed. In order to fix this, boot the Windows 7 Repair CD or install DVD, select "Repair My Computer," on System Recovery Options click "Load Drivers," then OK, now when the mini-explorer opens up, click on Computer, then rightclick on Windows 7 drive, choose Properties, untick the box for compressing files on the drive. Click Apply, back out of the Repair console, Windows 7 should start on Reboot.
