BOOTMGR is missing, I dont have a Windows 7 CD

I recently downloaded a game on my HP Pavilion g6 (Windows 7 Home Basic), all was well, the game was working fine and the computer hadnt picked up any corrupt files.
But the next day I turned on my laptop and it said "BOOTMGR is missing. Press Ctrl+alt+delete to restart"
Windows 7 came pre-installed on my laptop and I don't have any windows 7 installation discs or any recovery discs.
I have important files on the laptop and I cannot afford to lose it.
Please help!!!
