when it comes to an acer, they are the worst about removing files you need for repairing. thier idea for repairing corrupt files, is factory default restore. you will become very tired of doing that. i did. i did a clean install of a OEM System Builder Pack, did away with acers software. i now have start up repair with all repair tools that they removed.
on acer if you run command prompt as administrator type in sfc/scannow it will come up with files missing located in cbs log.

I have always found System Recovery Options on pre-installed Acer's F8 Advanced Boot Options. However corruption caused by the preinstalled bloatware can sometimes lead to it's loss.

It isn't necessary to waste a new Product Key to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. You can use the Product Key on the COA sticker to reinstall any way you wan using the latest official Win7 installer for your licensed version which is in the tutorial.

your talking about the ISO windows7.

Yes. I thought you might have used the Key on retail System builder OEM to replace the one on the PC's COA sticker which you own for the life of the machine to reinstall any way you please and as often as you want. If so it wastes a $100+ license.

mine was originally vista home basic. i tried finding a full version of vista but they were taken off shelves. salesman at compusa sold me the win7 home premium 32bit OEM System Builder Pack. paid 99 bucks pus tax totaled 104. i had way to many problems with this acer when it had their software on it. first year i bought it. had it repaired 3 times. and continued having problems. they know the software is whats causing the problem. they know it doesnt install correctly. even from their discs they kow it doesnt install correctly. so their idea is to do a factory default restore for repairing.
i do not recommend anybody buying an acer emachine or a gateway cause they are all 3 the same company.

I agree that Acer tech support is abysmal, and like many others is defaulting to Factory Recovery with almost any problem. However Acer hardware is solid and worth the investment of a Clean Reinstall which most savvy users or tech enthusiasts would do anyway.

EMachine was once known for compiling good quality parts for less than their aggregate cost. I can still make them run Win7 fast on 7-10 years old PC's. Acer lately seems to have pushed them into the bargain basement.

My roommate bought a blazing fast new Core I5 Gateway that reinstalled Win7 in 10 minutes and runs flawlessly 24/7.

So I'm not sure Acer has been bad for them. Acer is known for solid hardware with monitors that regularly outlast all others.
