You'll need to reset Win7 to Active: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/71432-partition-mark-active.html

When looking at the partitions on your Win7 Hard Drive, see if it has the 100mb System Rserved boot partition and try marking that Active first.

If it doesn't start when marked Active, run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105541-startup-repair-run-3-separate-times.html

You can do this with a Win7 DVD, by accessing the Repair console (if you have it) by tapping the F8 key at bootup, or download and burn a Win7 Repair CD: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2083-system-repair-disc-create.html

If you can't start your machine, you can download the free Partition Wizard bootable CD here:

Partition Wizard Bootable CD allows user to boot computer directly to manage partition.

This page also has an explanation of how to use the disk.

As gregrocker states,

"When looking at the partitions on your Windows 7 Hard Drive, see if it has the 100mb System Rserved boot partition and try marking that Active first."

If you don't see the 100mb system partition, then set C:\ as active

Also take note of his mention of the possibility that a 3 pass startup repair may be necessary. Follow the link for the tutorial in his post.

Here is a tutorial on how to set a partition as active/inactive:

Set Active/Inactive - Partition Wizard Help

It sounds intimidating, but it's quite simple. If you get in trouble, post back here and someone will help.
