Borderlands 2 (W7 Ultimate x64)

i've recently reinstalled windows and installed borderlands,it seems not to work i installed vcredist,direck sdk,direct im still missing something help ?
btw the problem is you turn on launcher,press play and nothing works,no process just blank desktop

nope,my friend doesnt have it installed too but it works for him

If you bought the game or got it free with a video card, then you need to use Steam. If you didn't buy it, then we can't help you.

you also need to post your computer specs. might be other issues like your graphics card

Yeah, if it doesn't have Steam it's clearly a pirated version.

The First Borderlands didn't need Steam if you bought the hardcopy

It might be the same type of deal but not to sure of this as Sygnus pointed out it might only be available on steam just food for thought

Yeah, the first one didn't require Steam, I have it, but the second one does.

I bought it off of Steam but havn't got into it yet been side tracked with other games but im round a level 6 or something

I haven't bought Borderlands 2 yet since I don't have time for gaming at this point in time

In fact there are a few games I've had to put off since I started school.
