Brain needs help on a HP G7 Laptop, POWER ISSUE?!

I HOPE THIS IS THE CORRECT PLACE TO POST THIS?
Anyways, I have an HP 17" G7-1019wm laptop that one day while using it , IT JUST DIED: POOF NO RETURN!
I messed with it a bit, finally concluded it was the graphics card or MOBO.
So, since the graphics is onboard mobo, I replaced the old, undesirable Intel board\cpu with a "tested: found to test ok", AMD cpu mobo; my personal #1 CHOICE of ALL PROCESSORS! I ALSO replaced: Power Supply:NEW, NEW inner power supply cable & NEW ON\OFF switch. Thought that was about all that could possibly fail electricity wise?
STILL shows NO evidence of power, at least getting to the LED next to the power button.
ANY-ALL suggestions as to what else I mite need to check or replace or Troubleshoot?

Did you remove the battery? A dead battery can prevent the laptop to start.

If you replaced the MB, the SP, power button, you almost replaced all the laptop electronics.

Try to remove the HDD.
