Breaking A RAID Array

I currently have 2 * 1tb hard drives in a RAID0 array.

I have just installed a 120gb Samsung SSD drive and want to reconfigure the array so I have a more traditional setup ie:

C: 120gb (OS)
D: 1tb (Files)
E: 1tb (Video)

I have run boot & nuke to remove all trace of everything on the drives, unplugged the array and plugged the drives into different sata ports on the motherboard, but BIOS still shows the hard drives as 'Performance' 2tb combined.

Any ideas how I can break the array so BIOS lists as separate drives?

I wouldn't think that was possible. Did you completely disable the RAID functionality in the BIOS? I could see them showing up as inaccessible, until they were formatted.

Was this a software RAID setup, or were you using a controller?

Software Raid.
I have switched RAID off in BIOS - Now seeing both drives listed on different controllers, but saying they are each 2gb!!

I am installing W7 on the SSD with the 2 standard drives unplugged.

Hopefully I can then format the drives from inside windows or with another tool.

Oh, I see what you mean. I think I have seen that before. The drives weren't completely blanked, including the MBR, so they are still reporting their previous state. You could get Partition Wizard's bootable .iso and fix the drives before starting your new install.
