Hi

I have a big problem with my network. Can find out what to do.

I have this Windows 7 Desktop computer which is connected to internet via ADSL(NIC1).
It also has a second network card(NIC2) and is connected to my Laptop.

Internet works on Windows 7. Connection to/from Windows 7 and Laptop works.
Internet does NOT work on the laptop. My guess is that I need to something with Bridge the network cards but how to configure this? I must use static IP.

Here is my config right now.

NIC1
-----
IP: 81.216.x.x
Subnet: 255.255.255.224
Gateway: 81.216.x.x
DNS: 213.50.29.170

NIC2
----
IP: 192.168.2.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: Empty or 81.216.x.x
DNS: 213.50.29.170

Laptop
-------
IP: 192.168.2.5
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.2
DNS: 213.50.29.170

Please help me.

Should probably use ICS rather than bridging if NIC1 is an internal ADSL modem.
Otherwise the laptop when cabled into NIC2 would need to connect to the ISP too with the username/password.

You would be correct if NIC1 was a standard ethernet plugged into an external modem.

His NIC1 is connected to the modem, it's a WAN connection according to his setup. It is a dedicated connection.

He will need to setup NIC2 to share NIC1's internet access. These two types of connections needs to be good mates. If not bridging the two in however way, i don't know any other way.
