Brink, help! taking ownership not functional

I have an issue, i can't take folders ownership anymore
& it used to work, & i have it in the desktop context menu,
but pressing it, generates an error "application not found"

What's an example of the full path of a folder getting this error to see if the location may be an issue?

Your reg created a second reference (doubled) in the context menu, i need to find the non working one,
plus, your version doesn't work either but i don't get an error (an empty dos window quickly appears & disappears..

when i used to take ownership on folders, it would do it for all folders & sub folders & files. nothing happens
with your reg.

It sounds like you may have used some other Take Ownership version if mine added a second item to the context menu.

Did you use the download in step 3 that includes a pause?

is there a way to force the ownership with command tweaks ? how come this shit avast shield is superior to windows
ownership taking ?

& if i really can't take ownership with the internal ms file or with a tweak or alternative software that
takes ownership more efficiently, how could i force the deletion with another tool ?

What's the full path of the folder you are trying to take ownership of?

If it's a protected system folder, you may have to manually take ownership instead.
