Broadcom Bluetooth Update

Whenever I attempt to update Bluetooth drivers through Broadcom I get a message that "This program cannot upgrade your software. Please contact the manufacturer of your Bluetooth device for support." I am running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate. I need these drivers so my Motorola QA30 can contact my PC in order to use Motorola Phone Tool. I am trying to backup my contacts inmy phone. Anyone have a solution? Should I be trying update the drivers in safe mode?
